Priests and Kings-10/6/2024

There are two types of people in this world: Priests and Kings. These two groups of people share the same amount of power and authority. Both groups of people have impact and influence. Respect and honor need to be shown to these two groups. We would not have the things we have without these men and women. Sucking of teeth, rolling of eyes, or looks of scorn should never be aimed at these men and women. We must celebrate them before they depart from us.

Priests represents priesthood. Priesthood represents sacrifice and service. Sacrifices made unto God and from fleshly pleasures. Service to your fellow men and for the advancement of society. These men and women are no other than our mothers and fathers. Pastors and deacons. Teachers and social workers. Construction workers and bus drivers. Without the sacrifices and service of these men and women the engine of our comforts stops running.

Kings represent dominion and rulership. Dominion represents control. Control represents governance. Rulership represents authority. Authority represents leadership. Men and women who are CEO's and administrators. Presidents and prime ministers. Managers and supervisors. If there are righteous among this group than the misfortunate will rejoice. But if the wicked are in these positions than it will continue to be dark days ahead of us.

We are all priests and kings. Our better halves come through when we least expect it. My better half would be a daughter. She would be strong, calm, cool, collected, and wise. A son would be the half of me that is sensitive, troublesome, insecure, curios, and adventurous. God can use whatever or whoever He pleases. Imperfections is what makes our stories worth telling. Generations to come will learn to reach higher dimensions off our testimonies.

Humility and meekness must take hold of these two groups of people. In order to take action correctly, a priest or a king must have a why. After the why is clear than comes the how. Once the how is set straight the what must be answered. Where appears suddenly and often times last. Remembering that God is the only boss we are to give answers to and take orders from keeps us in our rightful place as living vessels.

For the first time in my life, I went mountain climbing. The name of the mountain I climbed was named Secret Place. Standing on top of this mountain I was able to have some alone time with God. Lifting my hands and giving God glory, I looked back as to how far He had brought me. On my knees shedding tears of joy, I was covered in God's grace and mercy. Pressing through my problems, I aimed to be made new. Revelations and prophecies are revealed whenever we seek alone time with God. Although your walk with God may be different from mine, I am a strong believer in having quiet time in the secret place.
